An enthusiastic group of St. Tammany Library Foundation members met on Thursday, January 19th for the Annual Membership meeting. Board members were introduced and an overview of plans for 2016 was provided. There are exciting events on the horizon as the Foundation continues to promote the libraries in St. Tammany Parish and plans events to raise funds to supplement on-going programs.

  • February 14- February 27 : The Foundation presents "Latte Love Our Libraries". We are extremely grateful to the following local coffee houses for partnering with us to raise funds. A portion of the price for each latte purchased at the following locations will be donated to the STLF to support the libraries. Thank you to:

  • May 5, 2016   GiveNola Day This city-wide philanthropy event provides an opportunity for our supporters to give online on that day and the STLF will have the chance to receive matching funds as well as other amounts. More information to come.
  • May 12, 2016 The Dedication of the Walker Percy Serenity Circle at the Madisonville Branch and the unveiling of artist Bill Binnings statue of Walker Percy with his dog, Sweet Thing
  • Fall, 2016 The inaugural Distinguished Speaker Dinner. More information to come later.
